The popular Pedestrian Takeover returned along historic Charles Street this spring from Saratoga St. to North Ave. on June 6, 2026 from 11am to 6pm. What an amazing turnout! Check back this time next year as we celebrate our 5th anniversary. Charles Street Promenade will be bigger and better!

This beloved event transforms the Historic Charles Street thoroughfare into a vibrant pedestrian-friendly zone, featuring exciting street-front activations, live musical performances, and more.
